Robert was my husband's birth father....He died in WWII....From the Boston area...Ida lived on Evelyn St, Mattapan, Boston in 1944......I thought I had found the family by doing a mass mailing, recieved and answer, but the person replying said although his uncle was Robert Carpenter killed in WWII he was sure it was the wrong one ......all we want is a picture and some info.....There was only one Robert Carpenter killed in WWII in the navy. I guess they thought we wanted something more
