It seems like your family might be part of my missing Goldberg family from Connecticut! Would you happen to know your great-grandmother Fanny's maiden name, or any of your grandfather's siblings spouses names? I know my Goldberg relatives also came from White Russia, and actually from a village called Lyubcha. If we could find some records on your grandfather's family, it might give the village they originated from, which would help me figure out if we are related. What I can tell you about my Goldberg family: Harry Cohen and wife Ester Goldberg Cohen, lived in Troy NY and later the Bronx. They would talk about Goldberg relatives having a farm in Connecticut. Harry and Ester had the following daughters: Selma Cohen Leslie, Bertha Cohen Hamburg, Rose Cohen Bobis, Hilda Cohen Lefkowitz, and Dorthy Cohen Shrager (all born in the early 1900s). Ester Goldberg (Cohen) also had 3 nieces/nephews in HOUSTON, TEXAS: Sarah Goldberg (my grandmother), brother Abe Goldberg, and sister Jenny Goldberg Radoff. If you would like me to look up some records on your family, I would be happy to do that! I am eager to see if we might be related, and would definately like to talk to you about this some more.
