Author: Parker316 Surnames: Goldberg Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.goldberg/173.4/mb.ashx Message Board Post: My great-grandfather, Victor Goldberg, his wife Fanny, and their children -- Max, Morris, Rose, Frank (my grandfather), Louis, Isaac (also called Isadore) and Aleck (also called Alexander) settled in Ansonia, Conn., somewhere between 1910 and 1920. They first lived in NY when they arrived in the U.S. They came from somewhere in Russia (my grandfather said he was from "White Russia.") I believe Victor came over first, in about 1902; the rest of the family followed in 1907. Does any of this sound like your family?
