He was born in Lyakhovichi, Poland about 1871-1873 (as shown on ship manifest England to US in 1928) He immigrated to England before 1895 and married Fanny Heavenstone/Evenstone in the Great Synagogue on Belgrave Street in Leeds. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to try to obtain information from Lyakhovichi, Poland/Belarus or records that may have been kept about his family from the Synagogue in Leeds.
