Rabbi Charles Goldberg became a "Jew for Jesus", converting to Christianity fighting for his life with the fever in Houston/Galveston that killed 10 a night, maybe more, still going on...But, apparently, this is all news to me, and no doubt, all of my early Texan ancestors knew him, as he "got around" like them. He apparently wed a woman distantly related to my family in America!
