My paternal grandmothers name was Manya (Monya/Miriam) Goldberg, she and her husband immigrated from Odessa, Ukraine in the early 1900's. My father's birth certificate was issued in Odessa, Ukraine, on this his parents are referred to as Devenish Citizens, have you ever heard this term.
