    3. Thank you for the response. I'll check my records. What I do remember is this: Abraham was from Austria and married Sara Wohl in NYC. They settled in Youngstown, Ohio with 8 or 9 children. One of those children (Irving) married Margaret Blumberger producing 5 boys. I'm trying to get advice in locating birth records in Austria. I have no idea how to continue this research. Any living relations don't recall much. Odd Thanks so much for any information if you can help. Donna --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New Yahoo! Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/FOZ.2ACEB/138.1 Message Board Post: My great-grandfather who lived in NYC had a younger brother Abram Goldberg. I don't know if Abram ever married and therefore don't know if he had descendants. Do you know the names of Abram's parents, siblings, occupation, anything? If so, we would be able to determine if we are connected. The name Gordon might also be a possible connection, because of rumors of name changes in my Goldberg family history. But I can't find any proof. Contact me if you have any additional info that could help us prove that we are researching the same Abram/Abraham. Steve
