The unconfirmed information that I have about my 3G-grandparents, William B. Goff and Phoebe Walling, is that they were married in Warren Co around 1820 and had at least four children there: James (b. ca. 1822), Ambrose (b. ca. 1830), Nancy J. (b. 4 Apr 1833) and Martha (b. ca. 1836). It is believed that William and Phoebe both died in Warren Co around 1850--their burial location is unknown. Their daughter Nancy married Lorenzo Dow Tittle (my 2G-grandparents) around 1851 in Warren Co TN. My records show that their first child, Martha, was born in Cannon Co TN in 1853, and the remainder of their lives was spent in Cannon Co. I'd be grateful if you could share any information you might have about Goff family members in and around Warren and Cannon Cos. during this period.
