    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph album which appears to have belonged to the JOHNSON Family of Massachusetts and includes many identified photographs. The album contains the following photographs: JOHNSON Family Photograph Album · Blanche JOHNSON, “Mother’s Sister”, Graham Photo, Taunton, 1880’s, teens or 20’s · Alice JOHNSON, Adams Studio, Franklin, MA, 1880’s, 20’s or 30’s · Blanche JOHNSON, same as photo above · Unidentified Infant, E.E. Reed Studio, Franklin, MA, 1880’s or 1890’s · Chester SMITH, W.R. Carr Studio, Franklin, MA, 1880’s, 1 year · Gertrude JOHNSON BLISS, no studio or loc, 1880’s, 20’s Based on limited research I believe that Gertrude F. JOHNSON b. Sept 1859 married Roland Hodges BLISS of Redford, MA in 1880 · Roland H. BLISS, no studio or loc, 1870’s or 1880’s, 20’s Based on limited research I believe that this is Roland Hodges BLISS b. 21 Jul 1858 at Rehoboth, MA the son of Francis Andrew BLISS and Rachel H. GOFF. The family was living in Taunton, MA during the 1880 census, with Francis age 52, Rachel age 49, Rachel's Mother, Lydia E. GOFF age 88, Roland H. age 22, Francis M. age 17, and Leonard A. age 9. All born in MA to MA born parents. · Alden MANN, Warren G. Esley Studio, Boston, MA, 1880’s or 1890’s, 20’s I believe that this is Alden T. MANN the son of William & Mary W. MANN who were living in Franklin, MA with their family during the 1880 census. William was age 60, born in NH, Mary W. was age 48, born in MA, their children, Alden T. age 18, and Mary E. age 15, both born in MA. Records indicate that Alden T. MANN's Mother was Sarah A. METCALF so I'm wondering if Mary W. is actually his step-mother. · Elsie MANN, E.E. Reed Studio, Franklin, MA, 1880’s or 1890’s, 20’s Living with the MANN Family in 1880 was Elsie M. SMITH noted as a daughter-in-law, though single and only 13 years old. I'm guessing that it was a planned marriage with Elsie living in the family in advance of her marriage, not being of age yet. Later records do indicate that Alden T. MANN Jr. married Elsie M. SMITH in 1890 at Franklin, MA. The couple had a son Alden T. MANN jr. in 1896 at Franklin, MA. · Uncle Warren BRIGHT, Hardy Studio, Boston, MA, 1880’s, 40’s or 50’s I believe that this is likely a photograph of Warren Henry BRIGHT b. 4 Aug 1841 at Canton, MA to parents Michael BRIGHT and Elvira RICHARDS. He married Mary Elizabeth PEARY on the 9th of May 1866. Warren H. & Mary E. BRIGHT were living in Franklin, MA during the 1880 census along with six children and Warren's 30 year old brother Willard S. BRIGHT. Census records indicate that Warren H. was age 38, born in MA and his wife Mary E. was age 35 born in ME. Their children included Edria A. age 13, Pusie A. age 10, Annie B. age 8, Elvira F. age 4, Henry J. age 3, and Mary E. age 11 months. The first two children were born in ME and the others in MA. JOHNSON living with his Mother, Eliza JOHNSON in the 1880 census of Medway, MA. Eliza JOHNSON was a widow, age 53, born in MA, living with three sons, Melville age 22, Wallace age 13, and Harry L. age 10, all born in MA. · Ed BRIGHT, F.
