Born in Fedalia, W.Va on April 1, 1912, he was the son of Alonzo and Esther Leach Goff. A former resident of Benwood, he was an honorary member of the Volunteer Fire Department of that city. The deceased served in the European Theatre during World War II and remained in the Army until 1956. From that date until three months ago, the deceased resided in Columbus. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Columbus and the Loyal Order of Moose in Indianapolis. Surviving are three daughters and one son. Friends may call at the Kepner Funeral Home, Thirty-sixth and Jacob Sts. where services will be held at 2 pm Monday with Rev. William J. Kurz officiating. Internment will be Greenwood Cemetery.
