Deceased was born at Chambersburg, Pa. In the year 1876 he came to Kansas and has since then been a resident of Lincoln county. His wife preceded him to the better world only a few weeks. Yesterday morning his remains were brought to this city, accompanied by his daughter, Mrs. J.B. GOFF. The funeral was held in the afternoon, Rev. W.D. Ward officiating in the house and at the grave.
