I switched to familytreedna later and progressed to 111 Y- complete Mtdna- family finder dna- Big Y dna as well as a lot of SNP testing. I am in the Goff dna study under Lee Co. Virginia . I have a public tree at ancestry.com . It is the "Goff-Flasch-Estes-Scopolin" tree. My Y results are listed under my father Herman E Goff and my 3rd grandfather, Elisha Goff. My Mtdna results are under my mothers name, Catherine I Flasch, and m 2nd grandmother Ida Krueger's name. Because you are female, our only dna connection could come through "Family Finder", and I have not any success with that. If you have any male direct Goff line family member who could take a Y dna test, that would be the best way to make a connection. That small "Lee County group" has unique dna markers that separate us from all the other Goff groups. None of the living Goffs in this group have been able to determine how we connect. The only thing we have fo! und is that our individual lines come from the mid-Atlantic region all around the "Cumberland Gap". Take a look at my public tree and see if anything fits.
