The next thing I found was she married Silvester McDaniel in April of 1875. This is from Madison Co. My interrest in this is I am hoping she is the mother of my grandfather Joe Goff who was put up for adoption, he was born about July 1870. This could have happened out of wedlock because he was born Joe Goff. Joe also had a brother Hatley or Hadley William Goff both born in Madison Co. I can't find any other information about her. I have a Martha Ann GOFF (1843 LA--1924 Gonzales Co. TX) Martha A. GOFF, married Robert Allen KING abt 1873 at Madison Co. TX. Their children were: 1.Joseph Warren KING (1875--1880)----2. Harriet Susan KING (1877)-----3.Mary Elizabeth KING (1879--1947)-----4.Mose KING (1881--1934)-----5.Jennie King (1883--1954)----- Thomas Wayne KING (1885--1951) Robert A. KING & Martha Ann (GOFF)KING are in the 1880 census of Madison Co. TX. Robert A. KING (1834 MS--1887 Llano Co. TX) Martha A. GOFF is the d/o Jesse GOFF & Eliza WADE. This would make her the same age as the Martha GOFF you have listed. This Martha GOFF did not have any children out of wedlock.
