Where did he live? I'm still trying to locate William E. Goff's ancestors. I'm puzzled by his birth in NC, his father's in IND, and his mother's in MD in the 1880 census. Wow. Sorry I didn't email earlier. We changed ISP's and I've just found all these emails that folks had sent me at the old address.

Then I talked to a cousin and she said her Father was born in Nashville because our Grandfather worked for the Railroad. This was in 1912-16 but still could have been the case in1880's.
