Libbie Goff is my GGG Grandmother. She was born around 1805 in Virginia and died 18 July 1873. She is buried in Vinton County Ohio close by Solomon in either the Bowen Cemetery or the Temple Cemetery. My line is : August, Steve Gus, Peter, James G., Solomon ,Philip ,John ,Richard,Richard, Lawrence, Captain Richard and Lawrence from Bristol England and that is as far as I can go 1570 b d 1633.Hope this helps. I know sometimes it's confusing with the different spelling variation, so makes looking for them a bit harder. The Goff's I am related to lived in Handbridge - Greenway Street/ Sty Lane and Handbridge. My Great Great Grandfather was Thomas Goff/Gough who married Rachel Gibson. Just wondering if anyone found any info regarding this line, particularly something concrete regarding Nathan Mills' parents. I have researched many angles but can't seem to find anything prior to his military discharge Apr 11, 1781. Also, either this Nathan Mills 1750-1804 had a wife earlier than Elizabeth "Betty" Harris, or she got pregnant at 14 y/o since Nathan Mills "Jr" is 1776-1835. I have come to believe that we have a common ancestor between Mills/Harris, but that link is still out there somewhere since I can't find anything for James Harris' 1733-1797 parents either; I also ran into the possible father Robert Harris 1705-1740, but he's NOT the one which pops up everywhere from Isle of Wight...
