He was born in 1904, and always claimed to be from Belgium. He was in England from at least 1926 - I have a marriage certificate. His father's name was Felix Joseph Godin. Jacques is dead now, and family memories are fading. He had two brothers, who we believe were called Felix and Alphonse. I have tried searching on a couple of Belgian web sites for more information, but to no avail. Can anyone help? Are there perhaps any distant relatives out there with more information?
