With two people pointing me towards that area of the world, I will certainly spend some more time digging. When i started looking, I did find a Felix Godin travelling over from the Americas at about the right time, could have been my grandfather, but it didn't fit the family story of Belgium so at the time I discounted it. Having found other family stories that do not fit the facts, time to look afresh. Nice to hear from another Godin. I'll be very interested in any more information. Thanks again.
