Frederique is one of my ancester. He and 6 other person fled from the English is Nova Scotia ,Acadia then and ended up in Chaleur Bay in North New Brunswick which is now called Caraquet. I went to a Godin's reunion 2 years or so ago and we were over 750 . The organizers stopped sending invitations as for the fear of lack of places to lodge these people who showed up from all around the world. It was fantastic.
