Unfortunately, that's all I know. However, I have been in touch with a Reinout Goddyn in Belgium who did supply me with info regarding early Godin families. There are still many Godins in Belgium. I won't promise that Reinout will help or provide info about your family, but he may be able to search his own database and see if there might be a connection he can share.
