I currently own a house at 53 Ohio Ave., Fitchburg, MA, which Mr. Ovila had previously own, which is broken up into 3 separated lots. Two of the lots were sold to Henry Vaillancourt (lots 45 & 46), then a few years later Mr. Ovila sold the 3rd lot which was suppose to be lot 47 to Henry Vaillancourt in 1969, the person recording the deed messed up the lots and put lots 1 and 2, which Ovila had previously sold to Louis Leblanc in 1947. Lot 47 is approximately 15' by 50' It has been approximately 60 years, since this mistake was done on the deed and the property has passed through a few hands, but I am now left dealing with correcting this mistake. Myself as well as all of the previous owners have been paying taxes on lot 47 for the past 60 years, because the City of Fitchburg assessors office. So, in order to correct this I would need the heirs of Mr. Ovila to sign off on title to lot 47 to me, so that I may have a clean title. Would you think Theresa would sign over the deed for lot 47? I can send (email) you and Theresa the deed research that the lawyers have done as proof of this mistake in recording the deed. thanks for responding Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
