I know that his mother was a 'godin/Goodine' and I recently officiated recently officiated at the 80th anniversary of religious profession of my cousin, Sr. Stella Goodine - whose mother Helena was a sister of my great-grandfather. Any additional information regarding place of origin and original spelling would be greatly appreciated. Fr.
