Need a birth date if possible to narrow the search. Claude & Marie did not have a Jacques. Their only son was Pierre dit Chatillon born 1628 Chatillon sur Seine, France. Copy of his birth certificate is in the French Archives and only shows his name as Pierre. If you have any dates for Jacques, other family first names, or where he lived, it would be helpful. Another hint: If the Jacques you are searching for lived in NB, NS, or Acadia then he is connected to Pierre Chatillon. If from Quebec area, then he's from the Charles Gaudin branch. Not related.
