He was born in 1606 in Normandy France and died about 1694 in either Quebec or New Brunswick. My line goes back to him through Charles 1631-1706. I did find the "other" Jacques through the Pierre line and that is certainly not him. As you indicated I am pretty certain that Claude (son of Vorle)is not his father as many people list it. I have not, however, been able to find any other information about whom his father or mother might be. Thanks again for your help.
