I live in Lincoln n.h. my father came with his parents and brothers from Caracut,N.B. and settled in Lincoln.(1929) I dont know my great-grandparents names.Two of my fathers brothers settled in Conn.(Hartford area) He also had at least two sisters who either died at childbirth or very young.My fathers last name was Godin but the postal service years ago I guess insisted his name was Goodin so he kept it. I am knew to this so any info. you could pass along would be appreciated! Also, I think my grandmother Rose was born in Paquettville.N.B. Apparently her father is not Antoine it says Augustin Godin and also a Victoire and I cant read the last name. I have found her living with my great granfather/grandmother>(adele and Joesph Henri) With her husband Joesph Nadeau. She was alive in the 1920 census and it says she was about 81. For some reason it seems that many were not sure of their age. So I am once again at a stand still untill I can decipher this Victoire's last name. Does this ring a bell? Bonaventure Godin is the S/O Joseph Bellefontaine dit Beausejour and Marie Anne Bergeron dit d'Ambrose No birth date is known for him, but he was born at Ste. Anne's on the St. John river N.B.
