What I received from a distant cousin shows him in Missouri with two different wives and different children than what you list. However, I looked up Dryden Godby in the Illinois state marriage records, and there are these 2 listings that I think match your Dryden: GODBY, DRYDEN MOODY, ELIZABETH 11/14/1861 0A2/ 00000101 MASON GODBY, DRYDEN PELHAM, EIZA ANN 03/29/1857 00A/0132 MASON I'm intrigued by this because Mason County is where my gg-grandmother lived. This may be her cousin. I can't find him in the census, though. Can you tell me any more?

Their daughter Elizabeth Riker married George B Lovelace. George and Elizabeth were married at home at 681 Market Street in Newark NJ by Simeon Siegfried Jr witnessed by William Devoe and JosephGodby - - Ann Godby married William Devoe 15 Oct 1856 in Newark. Elizabeth Godby Riker is buried in Fairmount Cemetery in the plot of George B Lovelace.
