I thought I had reached a dead end and was getting frustrated. Another cousin of mine thought Sophie's parents were Adolfe Godard and Zepherine Brunette but I can't find those names anywhere in my research. I was also told she may have been Native Indian or Metis. I am now exploring the new names you have so kindly given me and hopefully will have better luck.The location fits with my other info. Do you have parents name for Pelagie Lafrance dit D'Aragon that you mentioned? I am wondering if she is on my Daragon dit Lafrance branch. I have a Joseph Daragon dit Lafrance married Pelagie Beauchamp and am wondering if this could be a daughter. This is the only other generation I am having trouble finding info on.
