On my gg grandmother's death certificate of 1911, her father is listed as Louis Gadard. This may be correct or a mispelling or misreading. Her mother is listed as Josephine Chabonneaux. Both born in Canada. Their daughter-(my gg grandmother)- Delphine was born in 1842 in French Canada. The family immigrated to the United States from Canada ca 1855. Delphine Gadard married Joseph Adolphe Lemieux before 1864. First child Josephine (my g grandmother) was born Aug 1864 in Fitchburg, Worcester Co, MA If any of these names ring a bell with someone please contact me.

All rights reserved. Katherine V. Godard 1920-2001 Katherine V. Godard, 81, of Tucson, Ariz., died Oct. 20 in Tucson. She was born May 26, 1920, in Santa Anna, Calif. She grew up in Overton, Neb. She attended teachers college in Kearney, Neb. Mrs. Godard is survived by a son, L.A. Tedrow of Tucson; daughters, Janet Webster of Tucson and Joann Shelley of Cheyenne; sisters, Dorothy Palmer of North Platte, Neb., and Glennys Boese of Bend, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wendell Scott Tedrow in 1970; second husband, Russell Godard on Oct. 6, 1998; parents, Andrew and Elizabeth Hasenyager; and a grandchild. Services and cremation were held in Tucson. Interment will be in Lexington, Neb. Friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.
