I am trying to find out some information on my husband's GGGrandparents. I found the names of Wesley Goad married to Tabitha Ann Rader next to the copy of Wesley's son John E Goad's burial card. John's obituary stated that he and his brother James were born in Virginia..Jame's obit said Greenbriar County, Va. John and James both were in the Civil War (Union Side). They lived here in Portsmouth, Ohio. John was married twice..1st time to Rebecca Shields and after she died he married Elizabeth Magnet. James was married to ? Stewart who died in 1899.
