I agree with Mike re his analysis of the Goad/Goode question. Have seen the microfilms and in some cases original records from Northern Neck and find Mike's readings correct. I have found no overlap on deeds and plots of land. They are separate and distinct from each other... with seemingly no chance to get mixed up or to have that different spelling of the name. Would suggest that a microfilm copy of the original deed books, order books and any land grants be checked. Ann
