Hi all, For the last three weeks or so, I have been working on a project that I started sometime last year. The book "The Charles P. Goad Family and Collateral Branches " was published in the 1950s without copyright notice or registration with the U.S. Copyright Office. Under the copyright laws in effect in the United States at that time, a book published without registration with the Copyright Office and/or without inclusion of a proper copyright notice automatically went into the public domain. Since the book was in the public domain, I decided to create an on-line hyperlinked, 274 web page version of the 85 page book. Other than the hyperlinks, the main departure that I have made from the original book is that I placed spouses on the same page rather than have them widely separated. In all else, I have tried to remain true to the original publication, including preserving original punctuation and spelling, though obvious misspelling is noted as having been that way in the original.
