Hi, Bert Goad and Lena Phillips were my great-grandparents. Lena is what she went by and that is also what is on their headstone outside Wallace, Nebraska. She was born October 07, 1879 in Round Mound, Osborne, Kansas, and died February 16, 1946 in Sutherland Hospital, Sutherland, Nebraska2. Children of Bert Goad and Iza Phillips are: 2 i. James9 Goad. 3 ii. Anna Goad, died February 05, 1996 in Grand Junction, CO. She married (1) Nickels. She married (2) Leo Thompson 1952; born February 27, 1913 in Elkhorn, NE; died May 14, 1996 in Grand Junction, CO at the Palisades Living Center. 4 iii. Mabel Jane Goad. She married Zeiger; died in Cambridge, Missouri. 5 iv. Floyd Goad. 6 v. Bessie Grace Goad, died August 21, 1996 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She married Kotre; died in Arizona. 7 vi. Cecil Archie Goad, born July 22, 1902; died January 21, 1985 in ?. He married Marie Tesar; born March 06, 1907 in Chicago; died April 1993 in Gothenburg, Nebraska. 8 vii. Francis Goad, born 1922; died in San Diego.
