Dave is my first cousin. Our great-grandfather, Bert, moved to the Wallace, Nebraska area from Osborne County, Kansas. His father, James Wesley Goad was the son of James Isham Goad. James Isham Goad was the son of the deceased Robert P. Goad who either stayed behind when the rest of the family moved to Arkansas from White County, Tennesse, or went back to Tennessee because of the girl he later married, Lydia Catherine Markham. Robert P. was the son of James M. Goad and Margaret Shockley that you mention in your book. Mike Goad
