For anyone who wants to try the new boards, the Goad Message board is at http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=surnames.goad&maxrows=25&dir=next It's taken them a bit of work but I think that the programmers have done a pretty good job at merging the boards from RootsWeb, Ancestry, and MyFamily. Take a look at the drop down menu for message types. This new message board has all of the capabilities of the old GenConnect boards and more. I'm not going to be available to answer questions about the boards. I have a business meeting at Three Mile Island next week and we are leaving early in the morning to do some tourist things on the way there. We'll be getting to see our grandson (and daughter and son-in-law) as well, as our son-in-law is stationed a couple of hours east of TMI. I tried this site. My pc sits and blinks for 30 seconds, then gives me the "Page cannot be found" message. (Trying to access a county "Query" page in GenWeb gives the same results) I don't know what "they" are trying to do, but whatever it is, I wish they wouldn't.
