Born Oct. 30, 1875, age 75 years, 7 months, 2 days. She professed a hope in Christ at the age of 12 and joined the United Baptist Church and afterward being married to W. S. Goad. She moved her membership to the Honey Creek Church where she lived a good life until death. She was a cripple and could not go to church as she would like to. She leaves to mourn her absence one brother, John Mathews of Glen Mary, one sister, Mary Jane Clark of Flint, Michigan, 5 step children, Oscar Goad of Muncie, Ind., Harvey Goad of Pioneer, Clifton Goad, Flona Goad, Margaret Cooper, all of Armathwaite, Tenn., and a host of friends.
