Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/kIZ.2ACEB/1084.2 Message Board Post: This is a long shot but since we cannot find many Goads born ca 1800 or earlier in Warrick County, consider this. In nearby Crawford County lived Gabriel Goad born ca 1770. He had two sons , William born 1792 and Haley born 1797. William had 16-17 childrten. Haley had nine. The 1850 census has only seven for Wlliam and four for Haley. Correlating this with the 1830 census , we find Haley had two older sons and three older daughters not on the 1850 census. Likewise, William had three older sons and six or seven older daughters. Like I say, this is a long shot but some of these might have moved over to Warrick County by 1840. Any of you out there researching the Crawford County Goads ?? (It was Perry County earlier). --- Ken

Rice. Note tht a couple that married in 1842 was Lucinda Goad and JAMES RICE. I would think Lucinda and Malinda were sisters, related at least. I have them as GOADS.
