Hi Listers I have been researching Goacher families for nearly 20 years. With the help of other researchers I have built up a database of more than 15,000 references to the surname. My study is registered with the Guild of One Name Studies, and I have a web site specifically about Goacher research. I was born in Sussex; live there now; and share a common ancestor with Bev Pease. Hello everyone, all four of us. Please introduce yourselves to the list, and let us know where and when your Goacher interest lies. I am researching them mainly in Sussex UK, as my husband's grandmother was a Gocher, note the variation on spelling. So far, I am back to about 1749 with Daniel Goacher.
