I have traced my GLUCKSTEIN family tree back to Rev Asher Lehmann Meyer GLUCKSTEIN, who was born on 17 July 1794 in Jenver, Rheinberg, Germany. He married Helena HORN on 21/5 August 1819 and they had at least 9 children. The family lived in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium before moving to London, England sometime between 1843 and 1854. Helene died on 6 Oct 1854 and Asher on 13 July 1859. Their granddaughter, Sarah GLUCKSTEIN, married Abraham JOSEPH, whose son was Sir Samuel Gluckstein JOSEPH (Lord Mayor of London 1942/3) and grandson was Lord Keith JOSEPH.
