Rootsweb has recently published the following message: "Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state. Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb" Kevin Bean (Admin/Owner)

I have traced my GLUCKSTEIN family tree back to Rev Asher Lehmann Meyer GLUCKSTEIN, who was born on 17 July 1794 in Jenver, Rheinberg, Germany. He married Helena HORN on 21/5 August 1819 and they had at least 9 children. The family lived in Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium before moving to London, England sometime between 1843 and 1854. Helene died on 6 Oct 1854 and Asher on 13 July 1859. Their granddaughter, Sarah GLUCKSTEIN, married Abraham JOSEPH, whose son was Sir Samuel Gluckstein JOSEPH (Lord Mayor of London 1942/3) and grandson was Lord Keith JOSEPH.
