Will try this again! Greetings from the USA. My Gr Grandparents were Jimmy (James) WILLIAMS and Caroline (WATKINS) Williams. They were married at Bream St. James Church on March 26, 1859. He was born March 16, 1834 and she was born Jan. 8, 1840. Jimmy came to the US around 1867 and Caroline and 6 children followed a year or so later. Supposedly Caroline (WATKINS) WILLIAMS was a schoolteacher. Do any records exist on school teachers? Caroline's parents were Richard WATKINS and Caroline (BALDWIN) WATKINS of Flaxley. They were married July 29, 1839 in the parish church of Flaxley. Jimmy WILLIAMS father was William WILLIAMS. (I realize I am searching for very popular names in the area/time period !) I am hoping I have some "cousins" still in the area. Appreciate any help on learning more about my ancestors. Keith in Ohio
