I am researching George Davis and Elizabeth Nichols, married 31 Jul 1814 in Berkeley. I believe this George Davis was the son of Thomas Davis and Ann Hale, who was christened 6 Jul 1783 in Slimbridge. From the will of Thomas Davis, George was alive when Thomas died in 1823. Thomas willed all his Blacksmith tools to George. >From the 1841 census, I find a George Davis and wife Elizabeth living in the Parish of Berkeley and this George is listed as a Blacksmith. There are no children listed. I would like to hear from anyone researching this family.
