    1. [GLS] Birth registration query ?
    2. F&J Baker
    3. Hello Could some one please answer a few questions, so that I may decide how to proceed further, I am trying to help my brother in law with this. On the Army papers of his father, 1917 - 1920, there are the names of two of his children entered at the side, probably at a later date ? Would he have had to show the birth certificates for these children, he may have got paid extra being a married man with children. I ask this because we cannot find the birth registered for one of them. This childs date of birth was written on the army papers as Ernest Hubert ( 20. 6. 15 ) This child was born a couple of years before they were married, so have looked for him by his mothers maiden name of ROGERS. The child died age 6 in 1921, and the death was registered with the family's name of BURGE, the family do not know much about him, and both parents are now deceased. Any suggestions or information please ? Frank

I seem to recall that the registeres for thes births were recordered separate to the others. -- Gary in Sunny Queensland, Australia. www.sunzine.net/rockhampton Genealogy Page http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~liddellfamily/
