My Dad was a Pennsylvania coal miner and also was disabled by Black Lung at about the same age, and he died of it at age 57. But more to the point, I also grew up in a small Pennsylvania coal town (South Fork, Cambria County), and there were Truscotts and Walls in the town. Were they your people by any chance?
