I have a Thomas POWELL, aged 77, who was accidentally killed by a bull in Compton Abdale, Gloucestershire on 23 July 1871 and an inquest was held on 25th July 1871 by the Deputy County Coroner. This information is gleaned from Thomas' death certificate and is all I have. I would expect that one or other of the local newspapers would carry a report.
