Hi I was wondering if anyone else was researching the Ballinger family who lived in Charlton Kings. Mary Ballinger baptised 25th April 1790 and was the eldest of 8 children (that I have found). Betty 1791, Ann 1792, Thomas 1794, Charlotte 1796, John 1797 who died before 1798 as they had another John in 1798 and Hannah 1800. They were the children of Thomas Ballinger and Mary. The only marriage I have found for a Thomas and Mary (about the right time to be their parents) is Thomas to Mary Gillett 4th November 1788 in Buckland, which is feasible as Buckland is only about 12 miles away as the crow flies. However, I have not been able to "prove" this marriage. If there is anyone else interested in this family, I would love to hear from them. Eveline
