Colin: Ebrington is quite some distance from the following, but I have a Broadway -- Mary Broadway (christened 7 Dec 1740, Kington St. Michael, Wiltshire) married Philip Coleman of nearby Chippenham, 7 Jun 1759 KSM. She was the daughter of James Broadway (1716-??) and Ann (?? - 1786). The witnesses were common parish witnesses, not relatives. The surname is also Brodway and other variations. Have you noticed there appears on my maps to be a village named Broadway in Worcestershire, almost on the Gloucestershire border and within about 5 miles of Ebrington? Good hunting, Sally

The Thomas Broadway that I referred to is the only one found with that name and connected hopefully to my family. I am getting a search done shortly which may give clues.
