Hi John I don't have a particularly good map of old Tewkesbury but I do know that Oldbury Road is the next street running parallel to Chance Street and Station Road crosses both of them so I am pretty sure it is Chance Street that you want. As to the factory there, I wouldn't like to hazard a guess but I will pass your query along to John Dixon who is the chairman of the Tewkesbury History Society and I am sure he will be able to tell you. Best wishes Liz __________________________________ Hidden Heritage : www.gloster.demon.co.uk Researching : BLINKHORNE/BLENKARN/SOSBE GWINNETT/RANN PHILPOTT & PURDON only in Ireland > -----Original Message----- > From: john frawley [mailto:j.frawley@ntlworld.com] > Sent: 05 March 2007 11:02 > To: gloucester@rootsweb.com > Subject: Re: [GLS] Census place name in TEWKESBURY. > > Thanks for this info Liz, have located where it is and have tried to > ascertain if it is the correct place by browsing through the census pages > before and after the original one HO/107 /1974.Folio 482.
