My only TANNER contact is in Hawkesbury in the late 1700's but most of my family are in Frampton Cotterell Almonsbury area but if you go to the Bristol Archives http://archives.bristol-city.gov.uk/ and type in TANNER and scroll through - especially in the Apprenticeship Indentures you will get several pieces of information.
