Hi Simone Bisley was a parish in its own right. The parish registers for Bisley begin in 1547 and are held at Gloucestershire Archives in Gloucester. The Gloucestershire Family History Society has produced indexes for Burials (1813 to 1851) and marriages (1800-1837) which have been available for some time. In the very near future, a CD of Baptisms will also be available covering the period from 1813 to 1837. These three CDs will cover the area of Gloucestershire which was in the Gloucester Diocese - i.e. not those parishes in the south of the county which fell in the Bristol Diocese.
