Can somebody please suggest how it is possible to decide where an event likely took place, or simply call it a brick wall and move on to further research? In this particular case I have William and Hannah BARKER having children in Hartpury between 1746 and 1756. The baptism records give the father's name variously as Wm, Willm, and William. I cannot find a marriage in that area, but have found one in Gloucester between William BARKER and Hannah HOOPER on 31 Dec 1743. As Hartpury is less than 10 miles from Gloucester what further research can anybody suggest to decide whether this is the correct marriage? Tim Green (801) 568-9679 (Home) (801) 661-3990 (Cell)
