Hello all I am researching the John COLWELL (b.1821 Painswick) and Sarah HERBERT (b.1821 Poulton). In 1881 John and Ann were publicans and living at 25 Woodwell Crest, Bristol, St Augustine, Gloucestershire. Though I do not know the name of the pub. Johns parents were William and Phoebe, and Sarah's were Richard (of Pulton) and Ann. I would be interested in anyone else researching these families. Sarah had originally married Robert TRAISHER CROOME (b.1816) and had children by him, but he appears to have died by 1843.
